Clara Simanjuntak is Nyananyana Eco-fashion founder and designer. The clothing and accessories brand was conceptualised in Singapore in 2011. After a long journey of sourcing and research about all natural fabrics and dyes from plants, the brand finally launched in 2017 in Jakarta. Nyananyana is currently based in Singapore.
She conducts workshops to introduce natural dye as a form of Nyananyana’s green campaign.
Clara also the founder of Jakarta Museum Playdate, community of parents and children where she visits and eco friendly themed workshop in museums.
For both arty crafty and sustainable movement enthusiast. This recycled wooden loom from a toy factory in Indonesia can be used to upcycle your fabric scraps or unused, stained, ripped clothes that you have. Participants will use organic cotton yarn and jute included in the set to create a mini tapestry. Each participant will get to bring back one piece of their creation and the portable handheld looming tool.
